Annie (Shenae Grimes) is in some big trouble this season, owing to the fact that she murdered a man in the season-one finale of 90210. Things take a turn for the worse when her victim’s nephew, Jasper Herman, shows up. And who’s playing that nephew? Zachary Ray Sherman (Fifteen and Pregnant), his rep confirms.

“He’s the nephew of the guy that Annie hit, and you get to see how he encompasses himself into the relationships of Beverly Hills,” Tristan Wilds tells us.

So does Jasper know that Annie killed his uncle? Shenae spills, “My gut instinct is that he may [know I killed his uncle], but Annie hasn’t told anybody. It’s definitely a secret right now.”

With a successful first season under their belt, the cast of the new “90210″ is looking forward to the start of the second season this fall.

Last season’s finale saw Shenae Grimes’s character, Annie Wilson, acting very unusual. Grimes confirms that the events that occurred in the finale, will effect Annie Wilson’s life in the second season.

“That’s kind of a big twist this year. I’ll start out on a different foot than I did last year. I’m not part of the gang for a little while and you’ll see why,” Grimes told People magazine at the One Year Anniversary Party for 3.1 Philip Lim Los Angeles Store.

The second season of “90210″ will also feature a new guest star, Rumer Willis.

“Rumer is joining us for a little while. I’m not sure for how long, but we are very excited,” Grimes said.

The show returns on the CW network September 8.

90210 star Shenae Grimes says people who wonder about rumors swirling around her – that she has an eating disorder, behaves badly on set and is a party girl – should ask her before believing what they read.

“Nobody has asked me about it. I really can’t help what someone thinks of me because they are reading a paper and choosing to believe it,” Grimes, who denies the rumors, tells PEOPLE in its new issue.

The 19-year-old Toronto native says the experience of moving to Los Angeles earlier this year parallels that of her character, high school student Annie Wilson. “It was a huge culture shock,” says Grimes, who became tabloid fodder the minute she was cast in the CW show, a remake of the uber-successful 1990s FOX drama.

Soon after her newfound notoriety kicked in, Grimes – and her female 90210 costars – were slammed for being too thin and accused of having eating disorders. “It’s so frustrating,” the 5-foot-3-inch Grimes says, noting that she does not have an eating disorder, but did have a close friend struggle with one for years.

She played Degrassi’s Christian, virgin until marriage, and not so good girl, Darcy Edwards. But, now she’s taken on a different more Hollywood role as former Kansa and new girl is town, Annie Wilson in the Beverly Hills, 90210 series spin-off, 90210 and couldn’t be happier; with hit show on her plate and fan of her Degrassi day’s still supporting her today why shouldn’t she be? Only thing weren’t always this easy, even though Shenae may not have anything to worry about now, landing the part of Annie wasn’t a piece of pie, “I heard that Hilary Duff had been offered my role.” Said Shenae in an interview; but even with a big star like Hilary in the running this teen starlet didn’t give up hope “I was like, you know if I got to loss out to anybody, someone that’s as established as Hilary Duff ain’t too shabby. And whatever will be will be.

Well, it looks like her positive attitude worked because as we all know she is Annie Wilson and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Grimes, is fully committed to 90210. Still she keeps room in heart for Degrassi, “I couldn’t be more proud of both. I look at Degrassi as like my boot camp to prepare me for this.” It was a groundbreaking thing.” And even with her love for the show, she knew it was her time to graduate from the series and make room for new students. “I felt like, seventh season, I had the best story lines in the world. It doesn’t get much more challenging than that.” I felt like it was time for me to, you know, step off a little bit and let some of the new kids come in.”

Shenae has powerful presence and is versatile to fit different roles; she is one star on the rise that will be sticking around for a while. Beverly Hills 90210′s Shenae Grimes’ new movie debuts at MIPCOM
Mumbai: Beverly Hills 90210’s star Shenae Grimes’ movie The Cross Road is debuting to the world’s television buyers at MIPCOM.

The Cross Road follows the challenges faced by a teenage girl when she falls in love with a Syrian boy in a paranoid, post-911 America. This is Grimes’s first film since landing the role of Annie Wilson on the teen drama series Beverly Hills 90210.

“Grimes is an extremely gifted young actress,” said Alexandra Thompson, writer and director of the film. “This is not an easy script to work with. There are a lot of emotional demands made on the characters and Grimes was amazing in rising to the challenge.”

Other actors in the film include Garen Boyajian and Bruce Gooch. The film was produced by Jordana Aarons.

The film runs a TV-hour length at 48 minutes and all television rights and territories are currently available.

The cast of 90210 has won the Hollywood Style Award! They will accept the award on October 12th. Congrats to them!

All those tights and boho prints have paid off: The cast of 90210 has won the Hollywood Style People’s Choice Award.

The kids of West Beverly beat out the casts of The Hills and Keeping Up with the Kardashians to claim the award, which they’ll receive Sunday, Oct. 12.

It’s safe to say the Jenners will be doing a lot of consoling.

The Hollywood Style Awards were created five years ago by Hollywood Life Magazine.The winners were chosen through a partnership with People’s Choice, via an online poll posted onpcaVOTE.com between Sept. 18 and Oct.3.

I guess just like us, Shenae has finally gotten sick of the rumors going around the news about her and her eating habits. Shenae took time out and blogged about how SHE feels and here is what she had to say :

Now, as you all know now probably, I graced my first major magazine cover, only to be called “too skinny” alongside my co-star Jessica Stroup. I would like to say once again that neither me or Jessica have issues with our weight or bodies. I happened to be very small built, and ive always been skinny. So I personally think that people need to stop criticizing everyone in the media these days about their issues. Im sure you wouldnt like it if someone pointed out all of your flaws and all of your mistakes… but thats what the media does to us. Anyways, im ranting.. so onto my next issue.

Tmz has criticized my smoking habit. I cant say that im proud of it, but there are so many people struggling with the addiction nowadays. I started smoking at about 16, and 1 in 5 teenagers smoke. Im not going to really go into the issue, but my hope is that you will all just stop hating and get on with it. I smoke. My choice. Im sorry if you dont like it, but this is who I am. Ive read some of the comments, they arrent the most supportive, but im doing the best to ignore them and just move on.
